and other photography

Dewerstone
Of all the many places I've visted for photography, Dewerstone Woods, on Dartmoor, in Devon, is my absolute favourite. There are inordinate number of character twisty oaks, fantastic seasonal colours, an interesting river, all in an area that is prone to mist, fog and 'weather'.
You will see from my gallery that I visit here a lot, and it is always worth the drive. I could have filled this double over with photos I just haven't loaded on to my website! Avid reader (not a typo) of my blogs will notice that my top 20 images of the year will usually contain at least half of their entries from here.
What's even better, until recently it doesn't get the attention of some of the other Dartmoor woodlands, so you can still present reasonably unique images without fear of the dreaded 'comp stomp'.
