Getting lost in Savernake can have its benefits when you rediscover old trees like this one, perfectly positioned and backlit in the morning fog.
I tend to get 'lost' quite a bit when I'm in the woodlands and don't ever follow a set route or path. In the UK you can get away with this as generally you can find your way back pretty quickly, but the benefit is you tend to stumble across the more hidden scenes.
