Sometimes a scouted scene can take years to capture as you had imagined it - for this one I had to wait an agonising 4 days, as the weather forecast predicted thick fog after my initial scouting visit. I have visited this wood in Devon countless times since and I have never been able to recreate this scene, it is rare for the fog to be this dense in this spot.

I absolutely love this colour combination of deep reds, dark orange, blue and greenm and it works really well both on screen and in print.
