Conventional wisdom is that you shouldn't go chasing waterfalls, and in fact, one should stick to the rivers and the streams that one's used to. When you live in Somerset that's fairly straightforward, due to the distinct lack of waterfalls. Unfortunately, I don't think it's great for rivers or oceans either.
